IT’S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! RUSSIA AND THE US MAY BE HEADED FOR WAR UNLESS THEY GET ON THE SAME PAGE IN SYRIA?

PUTIN HAS GONE INTO SYRIA CLAIMING HE HAS A MANDATE UNLIKE THE US WHO BELIEVED THIS WAR COULD BE WON BY BRIBES!
“The issue with Syria is Assad and his opponents are for the most part from opposing religious dogmas. Shiites and Sunnis have been at war with each other for centuries. Assad’s opposition has many gripes with his leadership including intentional lethal gassing of citizens. The US went in to Iraq and later supported rebels it thought to be more moderate than not because it chose to let them fight their fight instead of engaging American boots on the ground.
The failure of that strategy has been that unless you have leadership on the ground that can lead the charge those who you are paying to fight their fight may eventually be overtaken and forced to join the ranks of their enemies or be beheaded. That’s the threat of not properly engaging your assets on the ground with enough fire power, training, and boost along side of them to strategically win engagements. The US thought minimizing casualties on their side might gain them some ground.
Those it trusted to get the job done were ill equipped, ideologically unworthy, and lacked the moral to stay the course. ISIS has a different strategy of beheading all who oppose it. Right or wrong the US and its Coalition Members have spent fortunes battling extremists all over the Middle East; intelligence gathering, drone deployments, direct air to ground attacks, arming and training Iraqi members of the military, providing supplies both medical and commodities, on ground technical support personnel, and so much more.
Russian troops just showed up fresh from their invasion of Crimea ready to show the wold their firepower. This is all good propaganda for their media satellites but only if their aim is equal to the US? Putin has yet to delineate his plan of operations. He has gone in like a raging bull disregarding the more than 30 other nations including the US. Who have been strategically and geographically fighting wars on many theaters of operations.
It has been these operations and those who have organized cohesive engagements which has allowed for limited collateral danger and optimal enemy removal. If Russia wishes to engage their enemies it needs to state it intentions clearly instead of coming in all gun-ho. The US clearly has told Russia that no conversation will be held until it delineates its targets for all to know where it stands. Meaning that intelligence information on attacks must be shared.
So far it has been engaging in an operation aimed at supporting Syrian troops and its leadership.The US has been engaging in supporting moderate rebels opposing Assad’s stay in power. These are two opposing missions. Unless Putin and the US administration realize that arming and supporting opponents of either side will not bring a resolution to this war in Syria. But, worst of all may lead to an all out engagement between Russian troops and those on the side of US!” JRH-NDMC-INTERNATIONAL 2015
