Behind Closed Doors; the inheritance of being cursed

 By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 7/2011

 http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

 http://www.newdawncommunications.blogspot.com

“I started a petition one month ago today to help get free and expanded transportation for the rural poor, and all but 16 people signed it. Those of us who have the gift of a compassionate heart can only wonder why the rest of America and the world could care less about the aging, about the plight of the poor and or about poverty itself! We live in a society obsessed with aborting what confines them; what deprives them of their so-called individualism, what encroaches upon their perceived rights, what violates their ability to do as they please.” By John R. Hernandez, Jr.

In the Genesis of biblical history the children of Israel were told to kill and destroy everything they came upon when entering Canaan. Did they listen? No. For this reason God set them up to become as despicable as those they were told to destroy. It is important to note this great event in Jewish history if you are to try and understand why people act and behave the way they do in today’s world. To understand the reasons why the people of Canaan  were the way they were you have to go back to the story of Noah and his sons and how Ham uncovered his father’s nakedness. But suffice it to say that once Noah was made aware of this account he cursed the offspring of Ham. When one looks further into the offspring of Ham one sees that the land of Canaan was riddled with every kind of debauchery and false god worship. This explains why God told Joshua not to let the Israelites adopt the Canaanite’s pagan practices, but to destroy everything in sight. They worshipped hundreds of gods and their fornication rivaled that of today’s freest spirited amongst us. When we jump ahead to today’s day and age we find society still split along two lines. One side is bent on living out a life of; Hatred, Greed, Envy, and Jealousy –while- succumbing to the most aberrant of human emotions and behaviors. Take our aging Baby Boomer  population and the attention and care given to those already too frail to fend themselelves . In the later years we see our parents as they fade away and waste with age; some of us are compassionate, caring and loving. While others simply could care less. The average elderly person that gets put into senior housing has been -at some time in their life- a victim of abuse by their family members; children, brothers and sisters and spouse. The record of the crimes inflicted on the elderly is mind boggling. Most family members don’t care or understand the physical and medical frailties that afflict their aging family members. Neglect and abandonment are two of the most prevalent afflictions suffered by the aging populations.  I started a petition one month ago today to help get free and expanded transportation for the rural poor and all but 16 people signed it. Those of us who have the gift of a compassionate heart can only wonder why the rest of America and the world could care less about the aging, about the plight of the poor and or about poverty itself! We live in a society obsessed with aborting what confines them; what deprives them of their so-called individualism, what encroaches upon their perceived rights, what violates their ability to do as they please. Imagine we live in a world where hundreds of Nazi Holocaust murderers can live just about anywhere; even thought these people have committed the most horrendous crimes against humanity. The crux of the matter is how humanity has allowed them to slip past their noses. When, God forbid you should offend someone or try and impede them from doing -something- that otherwise would go against all known moral turpitude. If humanity could care less about Nazi murderers living under their noses what makes you think they are gonna care about the welfare of their own family members? We live in a society that loves to paint this picture perfect portrait of how wonderful and beautiful life really is; when deep down inside behind closed doors there is a miserable dysfunctional relationship between family members. Despite how many times people go to church they can never seem to get it right and this is what brings them back to another day of sermons and hymns; believing that their actions will vindicate their atrocious behaviors against their family, friends, strangers, co-workers and often God himself. When you look back at the mistakes made by the Israelites and God’s punishment for refusing to follow his instructions it is easy to understand why some people refuse to obey God and follow the straight and narrow. God has made it so easy for mankind to survive and thrive without his constant intervention. –JRH! 2011

MY COMMENT ON THE SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER’S FACEBOOK PAGE THEIR CREATING AWARENESS OF THE IMMIGRATION ISSUES

MY DEFINITION OF AN AMERICAN IS SOMEONE WHO STANDS UP FOR THIS COUNTRY; AND WHO IS PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. AND WHO DOES NOT SNEAK IN, AND WHO WILL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FILE TO BECOME AN AMERICAN. AND NOT FOOL PEOPLE INTO BELIEVING HE IS AN AMERICAN, AND NOT SOMEONE WHO POPS OUT OF THE HAT ONE DAY DEMONIZING THE ONE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD THAT HAS PROVIDED HIM OR HER WITH BENEFITS AND SECURITY AND WORK.  AND WHO HAS MADE HIM OR HER WHO THEY ARE!!!!WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR THE -15 MILLION- UNEMPLOYED -AMERICANS-? I DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR PEOPLE THAT USE OUR SYSTEM FOR SELF AGRANDIZEMENT.

THE NEED FOR RELEVANCE AND ACCEPTANCE; in an obsessively depressed and self oppressed society

By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 2011

http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

http://www.newdawncommunications.blogspot.com

Today, people are so depressed and self-oppressed, that the need for relevance and acceptance is hideously transforming and affecting our way of life. Nose, lip, genital rings; tattoos, cuttings and skin markings, shaved heads, spiked hairdo’s of varying colors- the more colorful the better; slang, hand movements, body gestures, the occasional snag of the crotch while trying to sound and look debonair; the love of the occult and vampirism, the need for stronger and wilder drugs, prostitution and commercialization of seduction; gangs, water fountain cliques, worship of sports, fads, fashion, clichés, the sun, the moon and astrology; and the desire to be known as an individual -set apart- from all or any rules or values and morals once found as a way of life within their progeny.

It is easy to understand why this society has chosen to allow the murder of over 50 million un-born children -when not too long ago- the church itself stood by while over 3 million Jews and other undesirables were slaughtered and gassed by Hitler’s ghouls. Today Nazism is alive and well and when it is not denying the Holocaust it is celebrating it. Today we live in a world were women are covered forcibly from head to toe when in public in the name of male chauvinism and hypocrisy. In a world were children are forced to learn to kill as toddlers and then taught to strap on bombs to kill their neighbors. A world were the aging are locked away in what are similar to isolation wards; away from the peering eyes and souls of humanity -unable to hear their cries and moans.

Sitting here in the still of the night, the ocean waves quietly rising across the shore line the moon and stars up above; reminds me of your greatness and goodness my Lord. How often I would come here to be by you, to listen to you whisper your words of love, to strengthen and console me. To hold me in your arms, to walk with me along this long and lonely shore. I want to take you all in my Lord, to let you inside, to be like you; how long have I carried my cross, bared it all and turned the other cheek. I’ve been humbled and humiliated, spat upon and degraded, thrown in jail and yet I have fed the little ones for your name’s sake; nurtured them and taught them about you. In all the world I could not find my rest, my peace, the love of my life; the one I could trust in, my rock and fortress in times of refuge and so once again beneath this moon along this shore before the heavens here I am Lord begging you to do with me as you will.

Hoarding is Alive and Well in Today’s Corporate World

By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 7/2011

http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

http://www.newdawncommnucations.blogspot.com

With the latest July-2011 -jobs update- spelling doom and gloom for the 15 million and more unemployed; Corporate America has just fired another salvo at the US Labor Department by sending thousands more back out unto the unemployment lines.

Can you be defined as; an older American, handicapped, poor and Latino or Black or any number of other persons -who fall- or have fallen- below the poverty line; an ex-felon or someone with a criminal record, or just simply a member of the displaced long-term unemployed? If you said “yes” to any or a combination of any of the above, your chances of  finding and securing a job are miserably minute. Why? As in Hitler’s era “undesirables” where those type-cast as a dispensable/expendables and as it reads on dictionary.reference.com the definition for dispensable is  –adjective 1. capable of being dispensed with or done without; not necessary or essential. 2. capable of being dispensed or administered.” It has come to my attention that hoarding did not go out with the last Neanderthal Ice Age or neither has it’s popularity been dimminished by the “Hoarders” show over satelite networks. No, my friends- the practice of hoarding is still alive and well across the globe. But, in my opinion the most hideous of places Hoarding is alive and growing is in Corporate America, –as-well-as-anywhere the possibility of a job will exchange hands between an employer or its agents and any possible propsect. Today, employers and their agents hoard jobs!! The reasons why they do this dispicable act or acts is for the same reasons a child hoards candy or toys or anyting near them. Hoarding is a nother way of excercising one’s power around their subordinates or peers. One barters this power by way of exchanging favors such as for admiration, status imaging, prowess, click building and maintenance and keeping out certain members of societal groups, etc.,,etc.,,! In some circles hoarding is big business and profitable for certain members of a specific race. Take for example, why are so many firemen and police  “public servants” in the upper US East Coast members of a specific ethnic group? When one looks at the statistics one -like me- walks away scratching his head. Even in the face of all the laws that says that this should not be happening it is -right before- our eyes. That is hoarding! There are well over 15 million Americans today unemployed and –because- I have brought this issue up -I will be demonized. Not for speaking the truth –but- for not keeping my mouth shut and simply finding some –whole- somewhere unheard and unseen. Going against the grain has it’s pitfalls -in this society- and some have been buried like out in the middle of some landfill. Never the less, hoarding will continue unabatted in Corporate America -untill- those behind the walls of the US Labor Department decide to get up off their over- paid tushes and do something about it.

Your tireless unpaid Societal Servant,

John R. Hernandez, Jr.

OVERVIEW OF MY PETITION ON CHANGE.ORG

By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 2011-NDMH

Get America Working Again With  My New  Nationwide Program

My new program is important because nothing is getting done to help get a greater number of the 15 to 20 million million people back to work. Corporations have become very skilled at figuring out ways to get more done with less. Because of the lucrative rewards of Workforce Initiatives via Job Credits many companies have adopted unspoken rules and practices of separating the hiring pool and favoring TANF recipients and those on public assistance over others who are searching for work but don’t meet the Workforce Guidelines. By limiting the workforce to a certain segment of the population; this would benefit many corporations scavenging for job credits which I feel is borderline discrimination. Furthermore, this only helps to isolate available individuals seeking employment and forces them back to the unemployment lines. The states are doing very little to help get the long term back to work when they are not scrutinizing the process of hiring. Fifteen Million unemployed tells me there is something wrong here that needs to get fixed quick and forcing capable people back out on the streets while favoring others because that helps to line your pockets, is shameful and unfair. Outsourcing jobs has practically destroyed the semi skilled to skilled positions out there, while streamlining work details has affected the overall total makeup of most companies. Farming out -hiring processes- to temporary staffing agencies in order to transfer most of the payroll and general benefit responsibilities tells me that corporations are still up to their old tricks. They are battening down the hatches and turning the American Workforce into another disposable commodity! In a society where more and more pressure is being placed on the few members of the workforce not affected by permanent lay offs or cut backs.

THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF MY NEW NATIONWIDE PROGRAM:

A Petition in Support of a Two Part Referendum: PART I: To Make States Accountable to Create Jobs Based on their Number of Unemployed Individuals Residents. PART II: In Order to Restore Our Economic Engine and Thereby Restore the Lives of 15 Million or More Unemployed Americans this Referendum Must Require Provisions for the Following to be Included as Guarantees to Insure the Success of this Effort.

By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 6/11

http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

Statement of Provisions:

When have you heard the feds going after any state because they reneged on their mandatory obligations to create an X number of jobs? What if we could (Provision #1) make them create X number of jobs and base that figure on the rate of unemployed individuals? So that now they have a federally mandated obligation to create jobs in their respective states. But wait it gets better! What if tied to this were another (Provision #2) obligation that would require every state department of labor to audit all their agencies within their state to make sure that all the information they provide to prospective job seekers was up to date, guaranteed reliable and that the jobs they sought out for job seekers were qualified jobs that met guidelines. Which would guarantee a livable wage, not just based on the states minimum wage criteria -but- based on the particular individuals set of circumstances. For example if you have an individual who was making $2,000 per month but lost their job through no fault of their own? Then, the new guidelines would have to say that a formula based on that persons financial obligations to his family, to the roof over his or her head, to children living outside the home; for which he or she is responsible for providing every day subsistence -to be- counted  including all his debts to creditors and any payments he or she is obligated to make.  (Provision #3) To guarantee that while they are unemployed and for three years after they are reemployed that no court action can be taken against them for any unpaid fines, unpaid court orders, unpaid tax liens, unpaid backed up child support, unpaid student loans obligations, unpaid traffic fines, unpaid property taxes, unpaid obligations to any loans including interest.

This is a mandate; a referendum to see if it will be possible for the American people to get back on their feet without having to look over their backs just when they finally find work. It gives them piece of mind, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better. Check this out! (Provision #4) A guarantee that if once they do get a job that satisfies all their necessities and they keep that job for a length of three years without interruption and they abide by all the rules of the prescribed agreement; that a percentage of their fines and debt will be forgiven and some of their debt will be forgiven in its entirety. How does this nation or this government expect to help get America back on its feet and productive again if all it wants to do is bail out the rich and famous and do nothing to bail out the long term unemployed and hurting. People are cash strapped, about to loose their homes and many already have; to hungry lenders. But if we could put a stop to that and guarantee to the American people that we will draw up a plan to help get them back on their feet and it will start with an agreement of -debt forgiveness- if they abide by all the rules of this agreement and in 36 months or so they can be almost or completely debt free. I imagine that, the small loan you may owe your old alma mater disappeared because you abided by the agreement that guaranteed you freedom and your transcripts back to go out and continue your blocked education dreams? Imagine all but a portion of your property taxes disappeared because you made the right decision and stuck by the plan. Imagine those huge federal student loan debts reduced so drastically you finally know you can breathe again because you followed the agreement guidelines. Imagine all debt gone or almost gone because you finally got an agreement that will guaranteed to bail you out too; just like the big three and the multi-million financial institutions got?  So what do you think? We got to roll up our sleeves and get 15 million people back on their feet -breathing again- and no care in the world for them; no more  looking behind their shoulder, no more changing addresses every time the government or the credit card companies or the banks or any debtors come with the garnishment notices and liens? All gone or almost gone! Give us three years of your life, get through our boot camp Agreement Guidelines and soon you will have the freedom to travel, to invest again, to never again be afraid to open up a bank account and start saving again. Imagine, guaranteed job training in the field d of your choice, guaranteed pay while training that meets or exceeds your wildest expectations (rewards incentives for job training) just follow our guidelines that is all we ask. Give us three years of your time and we will get you back on track. After all the big financial institutions got back on track within 18 months as well as the big three! Why can’t we make that promise to the American people? Wait a minute I think I hear a question from the peanut gallery on the right side of the aisle, yes ok what is it? Oh yes your asking how are we gonna pay for this socialist agenda? Hmm?? Let see, uhumm well one day at a time! This is an investment in the American people and on this nation’s economy. I think the rich corporations would be glad to pitch in, let’s see, oh yes private philanthropists; J. Paul Getty what did you say you’ll chip in a few hundred billion? My goodness I think that just about will cover it! But if there are any other generous benefactors out there, oh yeah, Donald Trump, glad to make your acquaintance; for once you’re investing in the real apprentices! And oh yeah Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and all our friends in the Middle East who have enjoyed the benefits of all our gestures of good will –courtesy- of the US Armed Forces; of course will take your check, oh wait a minute better send it to our  Pay Pal account, its quicker! Oh and Canada –yes- I forgot about that small issue of Free Trade;  sure will take a check, how much $100.00 Billion -no problem- you can send the rest in quarterly installments to the Peoples National Referendum Headquarters C/O to the officer in charge of the accounts to Restore the Jobs and Lives of 15 Million Americans.  But wait, you say you can’t do it? Okay, send him back to the back of the line! Back to when we were being held hostage by student loans, revolving unemployment lines AND short term jobs, etc.,!

If you made it to the bottom of this document you may want to take another closer look at what I already mentioned above as to the why so many millions of Americans with Land and Home Contract Package Deals for purchase of homes have been completely ignored by everyone up on Capital Hill; during and after all the hearings and hoopla over the mortgage spectacles in the face of this most horrific of recessions.  Shameful!!

Some Factual Data on the Transportation Needs of the Poor and Aging Populations in Rural Areas

Written and Edited by John R. Hernandez, Jr.

http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

http://www.newdawncommunications.blogspot.com

Hello everyone, I wanted to thank you all for your help with this petition and I thought I would offer you some scholarly data that might interest you. I have wanted to write about this issue for ever! I can remember putting proposals together as far back as some 15 to 20 years ago; that dealt with any social issue I came across. I have been a victim of transportation problems as I am sure some of you have at one time or another, in your life. The only research I did for this petition was the images that have been embedded in my mind throughout the years. The following data -you will find here- I decided to bring it to your attention –because- I have been concerned about the lack of attention or action this petition has been getting; as well as, I have been concerned about the lack of attention my other petitions have been getting. So, last night on the 17th of July I gathered up some factual data. Hoping, that your friends and family and their friends will see the facts as they have been collected. Although as the authors and researchers suggest that, in this extremely large study, “The aim of this study was to understand rural Black and White older adults’ self-reports of transportation difficulty.” The data collected by these statisticians reveals to us that there is a need for free and expanded transportation services that should be provided for the poor in rural areas and especially to those in the aging populations. Below are sample quotes from different investigators which reveal the negative effects of inadequate transportation services on the poor and elderly in rural areas. If you would like to study this subject further I urge you to visit; http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2758564/ Transportation Difficulty of Black and White Rural Older Adults Nan Sook Park, Ph.D.,ab Lucinda L. Roff, Ph.D.,ab Fei Sun, Ph.D.,bc Michael W. Parker, Ph.D.,ab David L. Klemmack, Ph.D.,bd Patricia Sawyer, Ph.D.,ef and Richard M. Allman, M.D.efga School of Social Work, The University of Alabamab Center for Mental Health and Aging, The University of Alabamac Department of Social Work, Arizona State University New College Program and Department of Criminal Justice, The University of Alabama The Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care, University of Alabama at Birmingham Center for Aging, University of Alabama at Birmingham[,] Birmingham/Atlanta VA Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center Corresponding Author: Nan Sook Park, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, School of Social Work, Box 870314, The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35487-0314, Phone: (205) 348-4441, Fax: (205) 348-9419, E-mail: npark@bama.ua.edu The author’s analysis reveals that, “Difficulty with transportation in rural settings can result in social isolation and deterioration of quality of life in addition to limited access to services. In emergency circumstances,… transportation difficulty can mean the difference between life and death (Gullette, 2006; Parker et al., 2007).” Furthermore, “Rural residents disproportionately experience transportation difficulty because rural areas are sparsely populated and lack public transportation services (Arcury et al., 2005a, 2005b). Rural elders are subject to higher transportation costs than their urban counterparts because walking and public transportation are typically not feasible options, and their trips are likely to be longer (Rosenbloom, 2004).” And, “Although transportation fundamentally influences access to various services and thus affects quality of life, 40% of the U.S. population in rural areas have no public transportation services available, and 25% have insufficient transportation (Glasgow, 2000a). In rural areas without public transportation, taxi services are rare or likely to be prohibitively expensive. Although some senior centers in rural areas provide van transportation, rural elders’ transportation options are typically limited to walking, bicycling, or using a private vehicle.” In Addition to that the authors of these papers suggest that, “The proportion of older persons who live in rural areas (14.7%) is higher than in metropolitan areas (11.9%) and rural older adults have to travel longer distances than urban older adults to access services and activities (Rosenbloom, 2004). Rural older adults tend to be older, have lower economic status, and be in poorer health than urban older adults (Roff & Klemmack, 2003).” My Thanks to all scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly on these projects to help with this issue -as I have- with this petition in my own small way -as well as- all of you who have taken the time to sign it and tell everyone you know; the importance of expanding transportation to the rural poor and elderly populations cannot be overlooked any longer. Can you imagine, when I was a small child I remember walking along dilapidated planks of old wood after the monsoon rains just to keep from slipping into the mud holes left behind. In those days the only means of transportation in the poorest of areas were your feet.

Thanks again, John R. Hernandez, Jr.

“The Day After”

By John R. Hernandez, Jr. © 2011

http://www.newdawncommunications.blogspot.com

http://www.newdawnmedia.wordpress.com

After the thunder and lighting subsided and the rains -seized falling- there was light and the heavens opened up and Angels in the millions and millions hovered above and stood before a white heavenly cloud and -all at once- clapped their hands and the cloud disappeared. And what appeared to be a City ofGoldthat shined like diamonds sat upon their shoulders; and there were guards of the Most High that carried swords of fire with smoke bellowing from them. Who’d returned to meet the rest, who’d bowed down as we all did for His face was like the fire of a hundred suns. But it didn’t burn me it was cool to the touch or so I thought I’d touched His face. And children by the millions kneeled praising Him and all the elders before his throne stood praising Him and all those who’d gone before us -stood by us- and greeted us and welcomed us. It was dark when I awoke -in the early morning hours- the day after the Great Tribulation when the armies of the Most High destroyed the armies of the evil one -in one great battle. And now I could see the sun rising up again, they had pushed back darkness into the great abyss; this is where they went those seekers of knowledge, who sought after the furthest of the heavens. Believing themselves to be like the Most High they called themselves the “Knowers” those who peer into the smallest of places trying to find God -trying to make Him talk- to get Him to stand before them. To get Him to listen to them, to obey their demands, to make Him appear -as frail as all of them- and the fires descended from the heavens and their eyes were shut closed. From the mighty fires that swooped down upon them like the days of Pentecost. They could be seen speaking in tongues and crying before the Great Presence of The Lord of Hosts and all his Guardian Angels. That cried out with a loud voice and who made the mountains tremble and the earth shake and the oceans spill their great waters unto the lands of the Pacific and of theAtlanticand swell in many places. And I stood in awe of all of this…trembling and shaking and speechless praising the Almighty with -all my heart- and all my soul and all my strength…..

THE TRICKLE DOWN EFFECT OF THE WAIT AND SEE GAME

By John R. Hernandez, Jr.

Editor in Chief Starlight News Service

“A SPECIAL EDITORIAL”

Only those that are forced to live in deteriorating rat and roach infested, unimproved tenement buildings know, what its like to be  cramped in, to have to put up with the stench of piss in the stairwells or the -vulgarity of- foul language being spoken often  times in the direct presence of children. Who must make their way through the filth and stench of unlit walkways on their way to schools; that occasionally offer similar environments. Only, those who must, because of their economic status; live in conditions often less comfortable than animals in a zoo. Or know what it’s like to come home beneath the sweltering heat, only to find the stench, the drugs and the confines of the smoldering cramped apartments they live in; a genuine living maddening hell. Who would but for a moment in the distant time and space of the television picture tube, even trade a second’s moment of peace to be in the place of one of these less fortunate. Almost every day in the newspaper you can see a story about some act of kindness, or some human rights event; yet, people today are and have been living right under our noses in oppression and deprivation of their basic human rights. Every day in the fear driven madness of inner city public housing, for ten years or more we’ve been hearing the rumors of an impending day of reckoning, and for those same ten or more years men women and children have had to fight their way through the stench, the  drugs and the violence; the moments and the minutes spent in fear.  In abject poverty, like prisoners of a system that collapsed before them; that seemed to have failed, and meant nothing! or something would have been done sooner, while the apologist’s will say that, “things like these take time kid”. The truth of the matter is that its politics that is almost always  at the heart of the bottleneck of most if not all these so-called social projects; and the games of politics usually carries with it a hard price to pay. Usually, those that pay the price undoubtedly are the innocent recipients of the political games. Very few projects come to fruition without some give-and-take, usually those taking end up with a larger chunk of the money pie than those expecting to receive. Because, somebody always has their hands out waiting for the right type of legislation to come along -that needs their  support- and that they as good civil servants simply just cannot deny lending their aide to. How many bills have not been -bought outright- for the sake of a few votes or two. Gerrymandering, manipulation of local districts, etc. these and more are ways for  individuals or groups to maneuver public and private sentiment towards their particular pet projects, all at the expense of tax payer’s hard earned but often ill taken, ungratefully spent dollars. Wait a minute, the manipulation does not stop there, we must not forget about what politicians will do to get votes and how low they’ll crawl or in what or with whom they’ll bed!

I am waiting for Obama and or Boehner to start visiting the Ghettos; where the poor must live among the perdition of this world. Where the elderly must get through life in fear and abandonment. Where children must play in dirty -filthy- streets and drug infested broken down playgrounds. Where there is no public transportation that will help take the poor to find a better life, a better job. It’s time he visited those in the Back Alleys of this World we live in; where the prostitutes, and the drunks and crack addicts hide in the darkness of their shame. It’s about time he visited the unemployment lines; from the Alaskan highlands to the hills of Illinois, from the shores of the pacific coasts to the streets of South Central, LA; from the border towns of Arizona to what’s left of Louisiana; To the dry Highland Plains along the Trail of Tears that leads to the unemployment lines of the poorest rural East Coast towns; from Florida to Georgia and on through Alabama, Tennessee and up through the Carolina’s and straight through unto DC and Maryland and Jersey, New York and the furthest of our northern cities…,.

It’s time the forgotten and hopeless; those who lost their life’s savings, their families and homes as a result of corrupt financial predators and the recession. It’s time they got to see the laid off and abandoned, the elderly, the incapacitated and infirmed; the poor children playing in the ghetto streets, and those imprisoned by addiction and mental aberrations –till they got to see the face and eyes of their President!

  1. The very crux of your writing whilst sounding reasonable originally, did not work very well with me after some time. Someplace throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately just for a short while. I still have a problem with your leaps in logic and one might do well to help fill in all those breaks. When you can accomplish that, I would surely be impressed.
